Sa Pa is a
beautiful former French hill-station, At an altitude of 1,650m
Sapa boasts warm days
and cool evenings. Nowadays it is still a
popular destination due to its beautiful scenery of the mountain
and the valleys surrounding and moreover Sapa are home to
several of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, each with their
own distinctive dress, customs and dialects. Sa pa is also
renowned for its trekking. With Vietnam’s highest peak, Mt.
Fansipan (3,143m) provides the perfect backdrop for some great
treks. This 3 days trekking and night camping offering a lot of
challenges and bringing you to the really untouched peak with
"only few ever" and on top of the roof of Indochina. So check

Itinerary:
Night 1:
Transfer from hotel to Hanoi station for boarding the train at
8.30 pm.
Day 1:
Lao
Cai – Sapa, hike up to attitude of 2700m (Meals: B, L, D )
Arrive at 6.30
a.m. Transfer by jeep & enjoy spectaculars en route to Sapa.
Arrive in Sapa at 7am. Short rest to have breakfast and have
some last preparation for the challenging hike. Transfer by
Jeep/van to the starting point at Tram Ton Pass which is 15 km
from Sapa town. Start hiking through the jungle and rain forest
and trekking along wild streams along the way. Stop for break
and picnic lunch in the middle of evergreen forest. More hike
onto the elevation of about 2700 meters. Local H’mong porters
will help us to set up a camping base and put on a fire. Dinner
will be served by the fire. And overnight in the camps.
Day 2:
Up
to the top of the challenge then down to 26

Breakfast and the
start the longest hiking day to the roof of Indochina’s house,
The steep path is very challenging as we weave our way through
bamboo forest, but the impression of standing on the roof of
Vietnam makes the hardship all worthwhile. After picnic lunch
and rest at the summit, we descend to our camping place of
previous night. Spend some short time on top for lunch and rest
then trek down on elevation of about 2700 meters. Shower and
clean by a… stream. Camps and fire will be put on again with the
helps of our porters. Dinner and overnight in the camps. (B,L&D)
Day 3:
Back down to Sapa. Overnight in Hotel (Meals: B, L )
Upon leaving the
camping base, we begin walking downhill back to Sapa Town. The
steep trail is somewhat arduous but we have a chance to get some
fantastic views over the surrounding mountains to the valley and
the quite villages in the far distance. Picnic lunch on the way
then we will get picked up in Sin Chai village and transferred
back to Sapa town. Check in hotel free time to explore the small
mountain town and dinner on your own a restaurant. Overnight in
a hotel in Sapa town.
Day 4:
Visit the surroundings of Sapa. Night train back Hanoi (Meals:
B, L )
Free day on your
own to walk around Sapa town and visit the stunning scenery of
the surroundings. You can go up to Ham Rong (Dragon Jaw) Mount
which
is situated right by the town for the bird’s eyes view of Sapa and the surroundings. Or take a 12 km walk down to Lao Chai
and Ta Van villages where most beautiful valley with terraced
fields of Sapa stretched away in front of your eyes. This is
also a great chance for you to meet and to be in contact with
colorful minority people of Sapa. Night train: Leave Sapa at
4.30 pm by jeep or mini van to drive to Lao Cai station for the
night train back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at 5.00 Am in the
next morning. Tour ends at Hanoi station (just 15 minutes walk
from the center of Hanoi)
